Three members of the Young Republican Club's Planning Committee handed in their resignations last night to Gordon I Poole '49 21, club president.
The resignations of John M. Gregg '52 committee secretary, Sanford J. Lang '51, operations director, and Waltor S. Rosenberry, III '53, member at large, will necessitate a special election after November 7 in accordance with the club constitution. All three will remain of the Planning Committee, which direct Club activities, until then.
Langa said he was resigning to devot more time to his honors thesis and also to "force a special election which would bring about the replacement of other members of the committee who cannot give enough of their time." The other two said they were also resigning because of academic pressure.
