Denied Winter Campus Housing, International Students Scramble to Find Alternative Options
All the Houses will for the first time jointly sponsor two football dances this fall, Donald T. Fox, Jr. '51, chairman of the Inter-House Social Affairs Committee, announced yesterday.
The Houses will share the profits, expenses, and ticket-selling for the dances to be held at Kirkland after the Holy Cross game on November 4 and at Eliot after the Brown game on November 18.
The Student Council has asked the committee to make a report after the Yale game on how its activities can be expanded. These joint dances, Fox said, will help to answer this question.
16 Dance Datos
Fox explained that there were 16 football dance dates to be distributed among the Houses, enough for each House to hold two dances with two left over. The Housemasters approved the committee's plan to hold these two dances jointly in the two largest House dining halls.
The committee has arranged seven dances on the Yale weekend, two on Friday and five on Saturday night.
