The photographic series on this page shows in detail the Big Rod power that broke the back of the Crimson defense in the Stadium Saturday.

For three periods Harvard throw up a surprisingly effective barrier against the vaunted Big Red offensive strength. Breaks played a large part in the early periods, but the Crimson spirit indicated that the team was "up" for the game. These pictures were taken with a motored Leica camera, which takes a series of 12 shots automatically every eight seconds. The photographer was Gilbert H. G. Coville '50.
