Air Force Will Try to Attract Officer Candidates With New Light Blue Uniforms

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

An Air Force team will be here Monday to try to lure men into its officer training program, the Air R.O.T.C. announced last night.

Perhaps in an effort to make the armed service idea seem more attractive, the College Air Force unit yesterday unveiled its new blue uniforms at an afternoon drill. The uniforms have the slouchy hats which the Army Air Corps men used in the last war, blue shirts, and beltless tunics.

The Air Force recruiters will be seeking men for aviation cadet pilot training, aviation cadet navigator training, and officers training for non-flying careers.

Requirements for the programs include being between 20 1/2 and 26 1/2 years of age, two years of college, and good physical condition.
