City Manager John B. Atkinson will receive a degree from the School of Public Administration tomorrow, after secretly taking courses for the past four years. He is believed to be the first city manager ever to obtain an other than honorary degree while in office.
Only a few of his friends and fellow-students know of Atkinson's studying at Harvard.
