Yard Baseball Rained Out; Play Tufts Today

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Yardling ballplayers shared the Red Sox fate as morning showers, that stopped before game-time, caused postponement of yesterday's scheduled contest with Tufts freshmen until 3:45 p.m. today. Spider Webb will be the starting pitcher for the Crimson.

Meanwhile, the freshmen elected John Joseph Donelan of Arlington yesterday afternoon to captain the squad for the rest of the season.

Donelan is the top pitcher on the '52 squad, with a 3 to 2 win over Brown and a 2 to 2 tie with MIT to his credit. In 18 innings, he has given up four runs, ten hits, 13 strikeouts, and three walks.
