New Directions Publishing House is sponsoring a prize contest for undergraduate literary critics who want to enter 2,500 to 10,000 word essays on New Directions authors.

The criticisms will be judged by F. O. Matthiessen, professor of History and Literature. Three winners will receive 50, 25, and 10 dollars' worth of New Directions authors.

Entries should be submitted to the Advocate office at 40 Bow Street by May 30.
