Dr. Miriam Van Waters, Superintendent of the Massachusetts Reformatory for Women at Framingham, will speak at 8 p.m. Friday, April 22, in the Agassiz House living room at the spring meeting of the Radcliffe Iota Chapter of Phi Beta Kappa. Dr. Van Waters's topic will be "Crime and Culture."

Senior members elected to the chapter last fall and the five juniors elected after mid-years will be guests of honor. Students in the three upper classes with high scholastic standing have also been invited to subscribe for tickets.

Initiation proceedings are slated for 7:30 p.m.

Last month Dr. Van Waters was re-instated to her post at the reformatory by the decision of a special commission headed by Dean Griswold of the Law School.
