Sherwood, Valpey Speak at Houses

Playwright Robert E. Sherwood '19 will talk on "After the Lampoon--What" in the Winthrop House Junior Common Room at 7:15 p.m. tonight. At the same time football coach Art Valpey will speak informally before members of Kirkland House following Kirkland's monthly dinner.

Sherwood, a former member of the Lampoon as well as the Harvard Dramatic Club, is making a special trip here from New York to deliver his talk.

At present, Sherwood is working with Irving Berlin on a new play which is to appear in the near future. His book, "Roosevelt and Hopkins," has been a consistent best-seller since before Christmas.
