Ann Edwards, supervisor of the Winthrop House Dining Hall, died in Mt. Auburn Hospital shortly after midnight yesterday morning. An autopsy held yesterday morning failed to reveal the cause of death.

Miss Edwards, aged 39, has been a favorite of Winthrop residents since she joined the staff in February, 1946, when the House reopened after the war. She was taken to the hospital Wednesday evening and lost consciousness Thursday morning.

Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Monday in St. Joseph's Church in Somerville. She lived at 74 Kirkland st., Cambridge.
