Radcliffe's Seventieth Anniversary Fund went over the $300,000 mark this week, putting the drive three-fourths of the way toward its $400,000 June goal.
No new appointment will replace the late Mrs. Brewer Blackall '12 as national fund chairman in the last three months of the drive, assistant chairman Patricia White '47, announced yesterday. The fund executive board will coordinate its own specific activities. Miss White has been made assistant to the 12 member board.
Glee Club Aids Fund
Profits from tomorrow night's Student Council dance at Boston's Somerset Hotel will be the first major contribution as the drive enters its last lap. Several Harvard Glee Club concerts in New England and New York will raise the total further.
Actress Dorothy Sands '15 will lend her talents for the fund's benefit on the Agassiz stage April 24. Miss Sands, who played at the Brattle Theater last summer, will deliver a monologue entitled "Styles of Acting."
