Hollis Swimmers Win Yard Crown

Hollis Hall accumulated 39 points to win the freshman intramural swimming crown last night in the Blockhouse. Matthews placed with 25 points, and Weld Hall followed with 22.

Tom Johnson was the fastest performer last night, winning the 50-yard freestyle for Weld Hall in 26.2 seconds. Frank Mannheim, a transfer student ineligible for intercollegiate competition, turned in a fast 30.8 second time in the 50-yard backstroke.

Only four men entered the diving competition and Matthews Hall's Don Sand-berry won the dive contest. Mannheim came in second best.
