Radcliffe Council Calls Revote for Treasurer's Post

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

A revote for the office of treasurer of the Raqdcliffe Student Government will take place Monday and Tuesday, president Joan Braverman '50 announced last night.

The executive board of Student Government decided on the move because of the "errors and confusion" attending the recent student Government election. The office of treasurer was the only post affected by last Tuesday's recount, which included ballots misplaced by the election committee in the original vote counting on March 9.

The same candidates: Mary Morgantall, Jean O'Brien, and Helen Wolfe, all sophomores, will run for the office. Miss Braverman added that "the Student Government board had taken the action in fairness to the candidates and to the student body."

The new Student Council's first official act repudiated the statement Thursday by the outgoing student Government administration that Miss Morganthall would serve as treasurer during 1949-50.

Voting will be held Monday and Tuesday in Agassis. House for commuters and Monday night in the dormitories for resident students.
