Intramural volleyball, which gets underway this afternoon, will provide the only regular House competition until after spring vacation.
Today's major game pits Kirkland, the leading House last season, against last year's runner-up, Eliot. Adams opposes Dunster in the only other contest.
Both games are scheduled for 2 p.m. in the Indoor Athletic Building. Like all the other games this season, they will be played on the number one basketball court, which has been neatly transformed into two volleyball courts.
Tomorrow, Dadley plays Winthrop, and Lowell meets Leverett, while contests between Adams and Eliot, and Leverett and Kirkland are slated for Monday.
The newly crowned House winter sports champions face Yale's intramural title-holders Saturday. Lowell's A League basketball and squash teams travel to New Haven, while the Bellboy swimming team and Eliot's hockey squad await the Eli's here.
The College fencing championships will be held on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday of the week after next.
Balloting among A League basketball players to pick an all-House team began yesterday. Returns should be collected and tabulated by tomorrow.
