Newton Girl Wins Pudding Contest

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Tasty hasty pudding and a neat hand with the quill won miss Lee Tyler, 20-year-old drum majorette from Newton, the title or Best Hasty Pudding Cook of 1949 from ballyhoo experts of the "Tomorrow Is Manana" staff last night.

The lucky maid will get a date with Eric Osborne '50 as a prize. This includes a corsage, a dinner, and a chance to watch the show.

About 30 puddings were actually delivered to the tasters. Many more girls, with more caution, merely wrote in to find out if the whole thing was on the level.
