University Offers Cardozo Prize of $500 to Writers

Competition for the $500 Benjamin Cardozo Prize was announced by the University yesterday. All students registered in the College or the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences may enter.

The award will be made for the "best report or thesis contributing sound knowledge applicable to the problem of racial and religious prejudice plus a suggestion or suggestions for the practical utilization."

Manuscripts must be submitted to the Committee on the Cardoze Prize, Emerson 301, or to Professor Oscar Handlin, acting chairman of the Committee, on or before Monday, April 1.
