Radcliffe's Class of '52 will sponsor the first Freshman Weekend in the Annex's 70 years on March 19 and 20.
A flat five-dollar fee will cover all events scheduled for the weekend, which will include two one-act plays on Friday afternoon, a jazz concert staged by the Harvard Jazz Band Friday night, and dinner and the traditional freshman dance Saturday night.
A. A. Milne's "The Man in the Bowler Hat" and Essex Dane's "Tuber Roses" are the two one-acters which will be presented in Aggasiz Theater Friday afternoon. Casts of both will be all-freshman.
Freshman Weekend will bracket two first-year traditions-the freshman play and dance-into one event like the annual Senior Weekend each spring. Proceeds of the weekend will be turned into a fund to enroll a European DP student at Radcliffe next September.
