The varsity squash team battered Wesleyan yesterday afternoon to pick up its eighth straight win of the season by an 8 to 1 score. In the aftermath the freshmen repeated the varstiy's success, whipping the Wesleyan yearlings, 4 to 1.
Eight of the afternoon's nine varsity matches were swept by the Crimson in 3 to 0 shutouts. In the final match Wesleyan's Henri Salann squeezed by number one man Henry Foster, 3 to 2, in one of the closest matches of the year. A 15 to 9 final game decided the match for the Wesleyan Freshman.
Easy Pickings
Captain Jim McKittrick in the number three match had little trouble with rival Dick Travis. McKittrick cashed in with quick 15 to 8, 15 to 6, and 15 to 9 games.
All sets of the freshman match were taken by 3 to 0 scores. For the Crimson, only number one man Jim Bacon failed to win his set.
