An Israell statesman declared today in San Francisco that the United Nations' plan to internationalize Jerusalem is "foredoomed to futility." "Jerusalem," said Eliahu Elath, Israeli ambassador to the United States, "is an integral part of Israel and cannot be severed, neutralized, or separated in any way from the state."

Australia's new Prime Minister, Robert Gordon Menzies, announced last night the names of 14 Liberal and five Country Party leaders as members of his coalition cabinet. They will be swern in tomorrow to take over from the eight-year-old Labor government which lost the December 10 elections.

Chairman Buchanan (D-Pa.) announced last night that a special House lobby investigating committee will look into medical and real estate lobbies. The committee also will investigate any lobbying by government agencies on the other side of medical and real estate issues, Buchanan said.
