New Publication Strikes Obstacles

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The three Eliot House students who broke away from the Advocate to start a "less arty" magazine have met difficulties in the organizational stage and probably won't be able to issue their first magazine until shortly before the Christmas vacation, Norris W. Darrell '51 revealed yesterday.

The three men originally planned the initial publication for "before the Yale game."

The magazine, to be composed of people who "aren't interested in building new frontiers in literature" has not as yet organized a formal board. A Chase Shafer '51, William E. Wiggin '50, and Darrell were all members of the Advocate business board.
