Adams kept first place in the House football league yesterday afternoon by pounding out a 12-0 victory over the Dudley eleven. Across the sidelines Leverett won its third straight by edging winless Dunster, 6-0.
Though Adams spent most of its time grinding out short gains off the tackles, it scored one of its touchdowns through the air and the other on a pass interception. After two long drives had collapsed in scoring territory, Gold Coaster Roger Davis tossed a 20-yard scoring pass to Hank Foster.
Several plays later Adams' Dave Andrews intercepted a Dave Gilbert jump pass and went 30 yards to score.
Dunster's Moe Pearlstein unleashed a beautiful passing attack against Leverett.
The Bunny offense finally matched its line play late in the third period. Jerry Gallo intercepted a pass and got up to the Dunster 30. Two power plays through the line by Jim Wykoff provided the yardage for the winning touchdown.
