The School for Young Lawyers which today opens its second annual conference is a Law School Forum idea for acquainting law students in Cambridge and surrounding cities with the problems they will face after entering local practice.
The school which is divided into 25 seminars offers a variety of topics ranging from "Criminal Law" to "Practice Before Administrative Tribunals." More than fifty noted speakers, including men of national prominence such as Leverett Saltonstall '14 and Harold J. Gallagher '17 have come to Cambridge to lead the seminar discussions, and the forum expects over 1,000 students from Cambridge and vicinity to attend this year's session.
Other subjects which will be discussed at the school are: "Legal Philosophy;" "Placement and Interviewing Procedure;" "International Law Practice;" "Real Estate Practice;" Small Community Law Practice;" "Insurance Practice;" "Teaching Law;" "The Lawyer in Government;" "Trial Practice;" "Trust and Estate Planning;" and "Individual Practice."
