'Cliffe Shelled Out $7500 on Pay Day

Radcliffe's Pay Day sessions yesterday and Tuesday piled up $7500 in returns, Jean O'Brien '51, treasurer of the Student Government Association, announced last night.

Despite the $5.75 compulsory dues, Miss Ob'Brien estimated an average handout of eight dollars per student. Ninetten students, she said, asked for special extensions, with only three requesting a post-November deadine for payment.

Girls with dues still outstanding can turn in their money through next Tuesday, after which the Student Government Association will charge a 50-cent fine. the fine is waived, however, for students who are granted extensions.

After November 1 debtors must pay a total fine of one dollar.
