A female thief walked into Saville House, one of the Radcliffe dormitories, at 7 p.m. last night and got away with four dollars in cash.
Nancy Carroll '51, one of the girl's whose money was stolon, described the woman as middle aged, wearing a black coat and a red and white kerchief. The robbery was not reported to the police.
None of the house residents paid attention to the thief when she entered and mounted the stairs. Upon hearing noise in her room, Miss Carroll accosted the woman and questioned her. "I'm looking for Joan Braverman," she answered and hurried out before anyone realized there had been a robbery.
Until late last night, no one had advanced the theory that the woman was Richard W. Wallach '49 in disguise.
