Stan Priddy's freshman hockey team gained its third straight victory yesterday, a 7-4 triumph over Melrose High at the Arena.

Starting slowly, the Yardlings gained momentum in the second period when they assumed a 6-2 lead. Melrose rallied for two goals in the third canto while holding the winners to one.

Fred Koch, Johnny Snelling, and George Harris paced the Yardlings with two goals apiece.
