Pierian Sodality members will pull out all the stops next week in an effort to attract new members for the Harvard-Radcliffe Orchestra.
A sight-reading rehearsal next Tuesday evening at 7:15 p.m. in Sanders Theater will lead off the week's activities. This will be open to the public, and will be followed up by tryouts in the Music Building at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday.
There are openings for all instruments in the Orchestra, with violinists, violas, trumpeters, and tympanists especially needed.
The program at Tuesday's sight reading rehearsal will include Berlioz's Roman Carnival Overture, Haydn's "London" Symphony, Dvorak's Sinflonietta, Borodin's Polovetsian Dances from Prince Igor, and a Suite by Bach.
