PBH is no longer out for blood. It has it.
Seventy unregistered donors who walked into the PBH blood clinic during the two-day drive, concluded yesterday, sent the campaign to the top of its 200 pint quota.
Although the committee, co-chaired by Sumner S. Chertok '48 and FrederickM. Fialkow '51, lines up 198 donors before the blood-letting began, 46 of these failed to appear, and, of the donors that did, 22 were turned down because of histories of jaundice, jungle fever, and recurrent colds.
The 52 walk-ins Thursday and the 18 on Friday added just enough to meet the quota.
