Walt McCurdy, first string basketball guard, led Crimson sharpshooters from his eleventh-place slot in the Eastern Intercollegiate Basketball League scoring marathon, as reported in the official league tabulation yesterday.

While McCurdy registered 118 points, well below the top total of Yale's Tony Lavelli, his team smarted in the league collar going into the Yale game. Teammates John Rockwell and George Hauptfuhrer followed McCurdy in twelfth and fourteenth positions respectively.

Meanwhile, in the realm of swimming, the Blue and Crimson mermen are in a first place deadlock, both being undefeated. Following their meet in the New Haven pool tomorrow, each team will send its members to the Blockhouse on March 19-20 for the individual swimming championships.
