Hard Pressed Skaters Meet Princeton in Arena Tonight

By Bayard Hooper

With only two games to go, the Varsity hockey team is coming to the end of its chances to salvage anything resembling, a successful season. But tonight's return match with Princeton will give it as good a chance as it will ever get.

The Tigers took the Crimson over the bumps in their first encounter last month by a tidy 8 to 4 score, but the contest was far from good hockey on the Harvard's past. Tonight the Crimson will be at almost full strength for the 8:15 o'clock Arena bout.

The only doubtful starter is Shorty Minot, who is still bothered by his injured foot. Defenseman Charlie Coulter has been working out at wing on the first line as a possible replacement.

The rest of the team is once more intact. Shaw McKean and Dave Key will fill out the first line an usual, with the regular Abbot-Huntington-Arnold line as alternates. Jack Lavalle figures to start in the nets once more, on the basis of his performance against Yale last Saturday.

The Freshman sextet will get one more crack at the B.U. yearlings today in an afternoon game at the Arena. The Crimson dropped its first encounter 6 to 5, and battled to a 4 to 4 tie on Monday.

Probable Starting Lineups: HARVARD    PRINCETON Minot  lw  Elsacaser Key  e  Roberts McKean  rw  Dickenson Washburn  ld  Ryerson Greeley  ld  Bernard Lavalle  g  Callahan
