Mitchell B. Sharmat '48 took the reins of the Orchestra last week as the group began preparations for its one hundred and fortieth anniversary season. The new president will be assisted by John A. White '48, vice-president; Frank E. Sanders '48, secretary; Richard See '46, treasurer; and John F. Golger '49, manager.
