Fencing Team Lunges At Brown Tonight in Season's Second Tilt

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Badly in need of intercollegiate competition, Rene Peroy's Varsity fencers will try to carve themselves some bear-meat tonight when they cross swords with Brown at Providence. It will be the Crimson's second match of the season.

The team's only previous competition resulted in a 15 1/2 to 11 1/2 defeat at Ithaca. Brown is considered less potent than Cornell, though, and squad members regard tonight's match as a warm up for the Army test here this Saturday.

Norm Ellis, the saber expert, Captain John Gay, Tom Master son and Bill Raney will lead the Varsity attack.
