The Crimson stretched a scant one-point margin at half time, to the final lead of 18 points against Exeter's quickly tiring defense. Ed Smith, Harvard left forward and captain, plunked away with his usual accuracy for a high score of 34 points.
Up at Andover, the Class of 1951 didn't fare so well, as the Crimson swimming team got dunked 35 to 31.
