Everett B. Mattlin '49 and Arthur W. Purcell '50 registered a unanimous victory for the Debate Council last night in the Dunster Small Common Room, out-arguing the University of California debaters on the topic: "Resolved, That the United States should withdraw its support from the Chinese Nationalist Government."
Taking the negative, the Crimson won out over Victor Ferkiss and Leonard Hesterman. The conat team will continue its eastern swing while the Debate Council will face West Point, Rutgers, Columbia, and Princeton over the weekend.
