Time ran out for the Radcliffe sophomore class in the Annex basketball intramural finals yesterday afternoon, leaving the score at 15 to 13 in favor of the seniors. A last minute basket by Mary Brandt '51 almost threw the game into an overtime period, but the whistle blew first.
Action began suddenly in the last quarter when the forty-niners completed three in a row. With two minutes of playing time left, sophomore forward Mary Brandt connected two in a series of long desperation shots. The seniors however, kept their two point lead at the close and added 25 more points for their class toward the all-sports intramural trophy.
