20 Walker St. Squawks, Gets Profile Lifted

Radcliffe's Administration took action last week to remedy complaints from residents of 20 Walker st. which had been besieging the College during the past month.

Three fire doors have been installed on the second floor in addition to the two erected earlier in the year. All have been equipped with hardware adjustments to make them self-closing.

Girls likened the new door set-up on the second floor to the mice mazes in Psychology 1. :If a prowler got in here, he'd never get out," they claimed.

The electrical wiring system has been rearranged with workmen still on the job putting double play connections in the house's "dark" rooms and repairing "pooped-out" desk lamps. Heating in the house is also being adjusted to relieve studying congestion on the first floor during cold periods upstairs.

Carpenters have constructed a bulletin board for all house notices and are now working on a linen closet for the kitchen. No traces of lines have appeared as yet except for the weekly Gordon Supply bedding deliveries.

The house decorator has promised to touch up the living room during Christmas vacation. The new look will tie in the living room wallpaper with the anticipated decorations to be done in "shocking pink" Other decorative additions include a pair of curtains for the front doors.

Girls will cast votes within the week for "the two worst rooms in the house." Lucky winner will have rooms redecorated with new wallpaper and paint
