Detectives Probe $5000 Haig Theft

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Three Cambridge detectives are working night and day to track down the thief who ran off with $5000 worth of men's clothing from Hunter Haig's earlier yesterday morning.

Central Square headquarters reported last night that no definite leads had been uncovered as yet.

The main door to the shop, which is located at the corner of Plympton and Bow sts., was jimmied and clothing swept from the racks between 2:30 and 3:30 a.m.

Morton Sills, brother of Ben Sills, manager of the store, was called from bed at 4 a.m. When he arrived, three police cars were on the scene.
