Radcliffe basketball players tried out something new in girl's sports this week, a limited dribble permitting two bounces instead of the previous single one. Pending final decision by the Girl's Basketball Rules Commission, the Annex athletic department instituted the new procedure.
Other women's colleges in the New England area have also added the double bounce as a legitimate action. Radcliffe will follow the ruling in any inter-collegiate games coming up next semester.
The Annex gym instructors, as well as the girls who have used it, claim the limited dribble speeds up the entire game.
