Harris Collection Goes On Display in Widener

Widener Library has two new exhibits on display in its lobby.

The lower lobby is devoted to the works of Joel Chandler Harris. Some of Harris' letters, manuscripts, and criticisms of his stories are exhibited, including the "Uncle Remus Stories," "Stories of Georgia," "The Story of Aaron," and "Tales of the Home Folks in Peace and War."

In the upstairs lobby, outside the main reading room, Widener has put specimens of Chirstmas stories and illustrtions into its showcases.
