New Electronics Club Assembles Tomorrow To Organize Activities

The first organizational meeting of the new Electronics Club will be held tomorrow at 7:30 p.m., on the top floor of Phillips Brooks House, George Mealy '49 announced last night.

The group probably will be a student division of the Institute of Radio Engineers according to Mealy. Meetings will be devoted to discussions on recent developments in electronics and radio, and lectures will come from Harvard, MIT, and other local colleges.

A second group of radio hams alone may be formed. Mealy went on to say that since a large number of first and second year men who would like to participate in the group have little background in electronics, he hopes several introductory lectures can be arranged.
