David Graham '52, of Mower Hall and Providence, R.I., has been elected president of the Freshman Athletic Council, council adviser Bob Ross announced yesterday. Graham, who becomes an ex-officio member of the Union committee, received the support of a majority of the council's seven members to win the honor. He is a graduate of Moses Brown School.
The Athletic Council is a first-year organization at Harvard, designed to provide intramural athletic competition for freshmen. It recently concluded a touch football season and will turn to basketball next week. Initial league games will start Monday. Meanwhile, practice tilts continue tonight at Hemenway Gym.
