James B. Fisk, Gordon McKay Professor of Applied Physics, and Willard Van O. Quine, professor of Philosophy, have been named to Senior fellowships in the University's Society of Fellows.

Election of the two new members--which raises the number in the Society to ten--was made last night by Professor Crano Brinton, Chairman of the group. Fisk was appointed to a full professorship when he came to Harvard last year. Quino has been on the Faculty since 1936.
