Henry Lamar surveyed his 36-member "A" team yesterday, thought over the past eight days of practice, and came up with his lineup for tomorrow's Freshman football game with Andover.
The Yardling coach, who met the members of his squad for the first time Tuesday of last week, says that he'll actually be operating a 17 or 18-man first team. But he named the following yearlings as probable starters for the '52 opener tomorrow at the Stadium:
Cy Bunce, Pete Brooke, ends; Charles Thompson, Fred Raverby, tackles; Bob Moulla, Butch Gordon, guards; Bill Frothingham, center; Carroll Lowernstein, Charles Walsh, Bill Healy, and Tom Ossman, backs.
Coach Lamar also revealed that by next week he intends to cut Freshman grid workouts to an hour and a half daily in order to give his squad members ample time at their courses.
