The biggest football crowd since the 1946 Yale game will jam Harvard Stadium Saturday afternoon to witness the Dartmouth raid.
H.A.A. ticket manager Frank O. Lunden predicted yesterday that 45,000 seats will be filled at game time. This is almost twice as many spectators as watched last year's Dartmouth game.
Clarifies Ticket System
Lunden also anounced that on next year's ticket application blanks students will have to state whether they wish to be seated with another applicant. This year, says Lunden, Seniors and Juniors who found themselves in Freshman sections because they applied with lower class buddies, have later claimed that they never applied together at all.
Many complainants, on the other hand, told the CRIMSON that their applications had apparently been filed with those of persons next in line, whom they didn't even know, and that they had thereby been deprived of seats they were entitled to.
When two or more students request adjoining tickets, all seats are allocated according to the lowest priority in the group.
Near Sellout Expected
Lunden based his Dartmouth crowd predictions on the size of the Harvard sale and the fact that Hanover authorities had sold all but one end-zone section in the visitor's allotment. Only three or four sections of concrete seats are still unsold.
General admission tickets in section 38 were being sold yesterday, but Lunden expected most of the steel stands to be occupied by 2 p.m. Saturday. The New York Herald Tribune has predicted a sell-out.
