The latest campaign against illegal parking struck the very core of undergraduate life this week when a squad of Cambridge's finest towed away the car of Stu Bottle '50, president of the Student Apathy League.
Bottle discovered his missing vehicle at the Elberry Garage late the following day, and after a moderate delay (some six hours) paid his fine and drove home. Parking spaces being hard to find, the desperate Bottle parked on Mt. Auburn st.
Next morning the auto was gone again and there was a smile on the face of Officer Shamus Finnegan. "If they're going to be that way about parking," groaned Bottle, "I shan't bother to pick it up until I have occasion to use it."
