"One of Britain's Charile McCarthys" was the way the Chicago Tribune described Clarence C. Brinton '19, professor of History, as the Trib continued its series alleging Communism in the University.
Brinton's latest book, "The United States and Britain," is "notable for its omission," according to the Tribune, and typical of a discussion Brinton might be expected to lead in the classroom.
