Getaway License May Prove Clue To Coop Robbery

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

When asked by a reporter whether he had received any new leads on Friday's Coop robbery, Inspector Joseph Breen of the Cambridge Police yesterday replied, "No, have you?"

Meanwhile, other officers reported that two suspects are "under observation" and that six sets of fingerprints had been discovered on the getaway car abandoned in Central Square less than a mile away from the scene of the daring 850,000 theft.

In an effort to narrow the search down, detectives have asked officials of the Roxbury concern, from which the car was stolen, to have any employee who used the auto report to headquarters to have his fingerprints checked.
