NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Although the Navy Department in a statement last week promised to inform veterans organizations on the methods of obtaining World War II and American Theater Medals for their members, they have not yet done so according to Stanley G. Karson '48, AVC chairman.

But veterans here who served in the armed forces any time from December 7, 1941 to December 31, 1946 are eligible for the World War II Victory Medal. In order to obtain the American Defense Service Medal the applicant must have been on active duty between September 8, 1939 and December 7, 1941.
