Speaking at the Catholic Club's final meeting of the year last night, Magr. Charles McInis discussed the career and teachings of Mary Baker Eddy, founder of the Christian Science movement.
He attributed the success of the Christion Science faith largely to its ability to promise people "all this and heaven too, and all on this earth. Mrs. Eddy's proved prevarications and intellectual thievery made it quite clear that she could not possibly, by any rules of common sense, be considered a spokesman for the Almighty," he declared.
