Orchestra Will Travel to Wellesley Sunday; Pierian Sodality Lends Rehearsal Library

Alumnae Hall at Wellesley will be the scene of a concert this Sunday afternoon at 4 o'clock by the Harvard-Radcliffe orchestra.

A new rehearsal procedure will go into effect his week following a suggestion made at a recent Pierian meeting. According to an announcement made by the new executive committee, rehearsals will begin with sight-readings from the Sodality's library.

Members of the new Executive Committee include: Julian B. Hatton, Jr. '48, President; Warren G. Gunteroth '49, Vice-President; Mitchell B. Sharmat '48, Secretary; Albert H. Cline '49, Treasurer; Edmund R. Hellfrich '49, Manager; and David R. Bassett '49. Assistant Manager.

The orchestra will be directed by Harry Kobialka of Wellesley and Malcolm Holmes '28. Included in the program will be Mozart's Symphony No. 28 in C Major, Beethoven's Coriolanus Overture, Heist's "Brook Green" suite, and two dances from the "Bartered Bride" by Smetana.
