Yardling Fencers Outparried. Drop Tilt to Worcester, 17-10

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

After an opening win over Exeter last Saturday, the Freshman fencing team suffered a 17-10 setback at the hands of Worcester Academy yesterday. The team opened proceedings by capturing the foils bout by a 5-4 count, but slipped badly in losing at epee, 1-8, and in saber, 4-5.

Newly elected captain Herbert Levine turned in an outstanding performance in his saber match, with Halton Arp leading in the foils department with a 5-1 decision. Dick Lewontin turned in two winning decisions at foils, and Giles Censtable pulled out the only victory in the epee department.
